What is the Quayside Club?
The Quayside Club is the major enterprise of Boatline’s ‘Key-holder Scheme’.
It is a private members club that provides boats exclusively for its members use.
A Fresh Approach.........
At Boatline we think ‘outside the margins’ - our Quayside Club gives you the flexibility and value for money you need for pleasure boating in the 21st century.
As a club member you have exclusive access to the whole fleet - and we have a full and diverse range of boats to suit every taste.
Included as ‘standard’ -
- Fuel and gas (no tanks to dip etc!)
- Everything on board for you - even including complementary provision and toiletry packs
- You can book cruises of 2-nights duration upwards - all year round
- Collect and return your boat at any time within your booked dates
‘Extras’ to pay -
Well, actually there aren’t any!
Here’s a few other things you don’t get.....
- No large financial outlay (£500 gets you boating)
- No long-term commitment (just 12 months at a time)
- No Security Deposit or Damage Waiver.
- No waiting around at the yard - no formalities, nothing to sign.
Simply arrive at the yard, load up and go!
How it Works……
The club has an annual membership fee of £250 - your first annual fee includes your joining cost and your induction on a club boat.
Cruise time is purchased on a ‘token’ system - each token costs £250. You must have purchased enough tokens to cover the cost of any cruise you wish to book. You can buy as many tokens in one go as you wish - and the more you buy together, the more cruise time you get for your money!
The club year is split into three seasons – Main (June to September) - Mid (March to May and October) and Winter (November to February). Cruising with the club……
You design your own cruise length using time-blocks. There are just two - a weekend block and a weekday block. Each time you cruise, simply select either one time-block, or combine them to make a longer cruise. ....

In this way we also avoid the complication of different prices for different weeks - because each boat pool simply has two prices for each season......
Pricing ……
Each boat in the club fleet is designated to one of six ‘pools’. Here is the price table showing the time-block costs for each pool…….
